- No purchase is necessary. Sweepstakes is sponsored by North Jersey Media Group Inc., publisher of The Record. Sweepstakes is a random drawing to win a VIP day at the New York Giants training facility in East Rutherford, NJ on Thursday, November 12, 2009. Sweepstakes runs October 25, 2009 through October 29, 2009. Sweepstakes is open to all U.S. residents, ages 13 and older, except officers, directors, and employees of North Jersey Media Group Inc., NJSEA, Meadowlands Sports Complex, The New York Football Giants, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, and immediate family members and/or persons living in the same household as any of the foregoing persons.
- Online entry only. To enter, complete and submit the official online entry form available at http://www.northjersey.com/giantsvip. All entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 29 at 11:59pm EST. Enter as many times as you like.
- Only fully completed official entry forms received online by the date/time set forth above will be eligible. No hard copies permitted. North Jersey Media Group Inc., NJSEA, Meadowlands Sports Complex, The New York Football Giants, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, erroneous, defective or inaccurate entries, unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, online failures, hardware, software, or other technical malfunctions or disturbances or other communications failures or circumstances affecting receipt of entries or entrants' ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. - Two (2) winners as detailed in Paragraph 5 below will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received, in a drawing by North Jersey Media Group Inc., the publisher of The Record, whose decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. A winner will be randomly selected on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 10 am E.S.T. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Two (2) winners will be randomly selected to receive a tour of the new training facility including lunch, and a complimentary gift bag on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 11 am. Each winner may be accompanied by one (1) guest. Approximate value: $500 Winner must provide his or her own transportation to the training facility.
- All prizes will be awarded. Judge’s decisions on all matters of the sweepstakes are final and binding.
- Winner will be notified by phone on Friday, October 30, 2009 immediately after the random drawing. Winner has until Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10 am to confirm intention to accept the prize. If the prize is not claimed by that time, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be chosen. Each winner, or the parent and/or legal guardian of the winner if under 18 years of age, must supply valid I.D., and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) prior to receiving a prize. If a winner fails to provide I.D., fails to sign affidavit, or if prize notification is not responded to, that entry will be void and an alternate winner will be randomly drawn.
- Prize is non-transferable. Cash redemption, exchange, or substitution is not allowed, except at the sole discretion of North Jersey Media Group Inc. North Jersey Media Group Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Taxes and/or fees are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Entry constitutes agreement to hold North Jersey Media Group Inc., NJSEA, Meadowlands Sports Complex, and The New York Football Giants, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities, harmless from and against any and all damages, liability, losses, and expenses arising out of, or claimed to be arising out of, this Sweepstakes, or acceptance or use of the prize(s).
- North Jersey Media Group Inc. reserves the right to terminate, modify, or otherwise change this Sweepstakes, at its sole discretion, should it determine that its fairness has been compromised. Any tampering with the online entry method in any manner is prohibited. North Jersey Media Group reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether the online entry method has been compromised. North Jersey Media Group reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who the sponsor suspects or has found, in its sole discretion, to have tampered with the Sweepstakes or submitted entries using any automated means. In the event North Jersey Media Group determines the online entry service has been misused, the Sweepstakes will end. If North Jersey Media Group determines, in its sole discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events outside North Jersey Media Group’s control compromise the integrity or viability of the Sweepstakes, North Jersey Media Group reserves the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Sweepstakes. North Jersey Media Group Inc.’s decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final.
- Sweepstakes subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where taxed, restricted, or prohibited by law.
- By claiming a prize, winner consents to The Record’s publication of their name, likeness, hometown, and prize allocation in the paper. To be notified of the prizewinner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Giants VIP Winners, Marketing Department, 1 Garret Mountain Plaza, P.O. Box 471, Woodland Park, NJ. Requests must be received by April 30, 2010.
- Entry constitutes agreement to be bound by all of the foregoing rules and terms, and also constitutes permission to use the winner’s name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
