Official Rules

No purchase is necessary. Sweepstakes is sponsored by North Jersey Media Group Inc. (NJMG), publisher of The Record. Sweepstakes is a random drawing to win a seat at The Record table at the Giants Kickoff Luncheon at New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on August 31, 2011. Sweepstakes runs August 10, 2011 – August 17, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Sweepstakes is open to all U.S. residents, ages 21 and older, except officers, directors, and employees of North Jersey Media Group Inc., The New York Football Giants, the NFL, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, and immediate family members and/or persons living in the same household as any of the foregoing persons.
To enter, complete the official entry form online at http://www.northjersey.com/giantskickoff. Entries must be submitted by August 14, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T.
Only fully completed official entry forms submit online by August 17, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. EST will be eligible. No photocopies or facsimiles permitted. North Jersey Media Group Inc., The New York Football Giants, the NFL, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities are not responsible for lost, stolen, ineligible, late, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or postage-due entries or any other circumstances affecting receipt of entries or entrants’ ability to participate in the Giants Kickoff Luncheon Sweepstakes. All entries become the exclusive property of North Jersey Media Group Inc. and will not be returned. If you have any questions, call 1-888-829-2595.
Three (3) winners as detailed in paragraph 5 below will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received, in a drawing by North Jersey Media Group Inc., whose decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. The winners will be randomly selected on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 12 noon. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Three (3) winners will each win a spot at The Record table at the official Giants Kickoff Luncheon. Each winner may bring one (1) guest. Luncheon to be held at the Coaches Club, New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on August, 31, 2011 from noon – 2pm. The 2011 New York Giants team and coaching staff are scheduled to attend the Kickoff Luncheon. One current New York Giants player and/or one New York Giants alumni will be sitting at The Record Kickoff Luncheon table. Players selected to be seated at The Record table will be determined at a later date by the New York Giants. Approximate prize value: $2,000.00. Luncheon includes food, hors d’oevres and open bar. All other expenses, such as transportation to/from the Luncheon, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
All prizes will be awarded. Only one prize is allowed per household. Any individual that has accepted a prize under any other North Jersey Media Group sponsored sweepstakes within the last 30 days is not eligible. In the event such a person’s entry is drawn, an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing. Judge’s decisions on all matters of the sweepstakes are final and binding.
Winners will be notified by phone on Thursday, August 18, 2011 immediately after the random drawing. Winners have until August 19, 2011 to confirm intention to accept the prize. If the prize is not claimed by that time, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be chosen. Each winner must supply valid I.D., and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) prior to receiving a prize. If a winner fails to provide I.D., fails to sign affidavit, or if prize notification is not responded to, that entry will be void and an alternate winner will be randomly drawn. In the interest of time, prizewinners may present their I.D. and sign the affidavit at The Record, 1 Garret Mountain Plaza, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.
Prizes are non-transferable. Cash redemption, exchange, or substitution is not allowed, except at the sole discretion of North Jersey Media Group Inc. North Jersey Media Group Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Taxes and/or fees are the sole responsibility of the winners.
Entry constitutes agreement to hold NJMG and its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities, harmless from and against any and all damages, liability, losses, and expenses arising out of, or claimed to be arising out of, this Sweepstakes, or acceptance or use of the prize(s).
North Jersey Media Group Inc. reserves the right to terminate, modify, or otherwise change this sweepstakes, at its sole discretion, should it determine that its fairness has been compromised. North Jersey Media Group Inc.’s decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final.
Sweepstakes subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where taxed, restricted, or prohibited by law.
By claiming a prize, winners consent to The Record’s publication of their names, likeness, hometown, and prize allocation in the paper. For a list of prize winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Giants Kickoff winners, The Record, 1 Garret Mountain Plaza, PO Box 471, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. Requests must be received by February 29, 2012.
Entry constitutes agreement to be bound by all of the foregoing rules and terms, and also constitutes permission to use the winner’s name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
