- No purchase is necessary. Sweepstakes is sponsored by North Jersey Media Group Inc. (NJMG), publisher of The Record. Sweepstakes is a random drawing to win a family-four pack of tickets to see the Sesame Street Live show at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Tickets will be vouchers valid for any Sesame Street Live performance at the IZOD Center from September 30 - October 2, 2011. Sweepstakes runs September 18, 2011 through September 25, 2011 at 11:59 pm E.S.T. Sweepstakes is open to all U.S. residents, ages 13 and older, except officers, directors, and employees of NJMG, NJSEA, Sesame Street Workshop and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, and immediate family members and/or persons living in the same household as any of the foregoing persons.
- Online entry only. To enter, complete and submit the official online entry form available at northjersey.com/sesamelive. All entries must be submitted by September 25, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T.
- Only fully completed official entry forms submitted online by the date and time set forth above will be eligible. No hard copies, photocopies or facsimiles permitted. NJMG, NJSEA, Sesame Street Workshop and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities are not responsible for lost, stolen, ineligible, late, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, online failures, hardware, software, or any other technical malfunctions, disturbances, or communications failures, or any other circumstances affecting receipt of entries or entrants’ ability to participate in the Sesame Street Live Sweepstakes. - Five (5) winners as detailed in paragraph 5 below will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received, in a drawing by NJMG, whose decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. The winners will be randomly selected on September 26, 2011 on or about 12:00pm EST. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Five (5) winners will each receive a family-four pack of ticke vouchers toa Sesame Street Live show at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey redeemable for any performance at the IZOD Center during September 30 - October 2, 2011. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 2:00pm. (Value: $31,50 per ticket, $126.00 for a family-four pack). Voucher must be redeemed at the venue box office. Additional tickets may be pruchased at the time of redemption. For best seats, winners must redeem their voucher as soon as possible. Voucher has no cash value, cannot be soldand expires on July 29, 2012. One complimentary ticket per voucher. Not valid on Sunny Seats, Gold Circle or Premium Seating. Offer subject to ticket availability.
Winners must provide their own transportation to and from the event.
- All prizes will be awarded. Only one prize is allowed per household. Prizes awarded to minors will be delivered only to the minor’s parent or legal guardian. Judge’s decisions on all matters of the sweepstakes are final and binding.
- Winners will be notified by phone on September 26, 2011 immediately after the random drawing. If a winner does not confirm intention to accept the prize by September 28, 20011 at 3 p.m. the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be chosen. Each winner (or the parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) must supply valid I.D. and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) prior to receiving a prize. If a winner fails to provide I.D., fails to complete and sign affidavit, or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, that entry will be void and an alternate winner will be randomly drawn.
- Prizes are non-transferable. Cash redemption, exchange, or substitution is not allowed, except at the sole discretion of NJMG. NJMG reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Taxes and/or fees are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners will provide their own transportation to and from the event.
- Entry constitutes agreement to hold NJMG, NJSEA, Sesame Street Workshop and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities, harmless from and against any and all damages, liability, losses, and expenses arising out of, or claimed to be arising out of, this Sweepstakes, or acceptance or use of the prize(s).
- NJMG reserves the right to terminate, modify, or otherwise change this sweepstakes, at its sole discretion, should it determine that its fairness has been compromised. Any tampering with the online Sweepstakes in any manner is prohibited. NJMG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether the online Sweepstakes has been compromised. NJMG reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who the sponsor suspects or has found, in its sole discretion, to have tampered with the Sweepstakes, submitted multiple entries or submitted entries using any automated means. In the event NJMG determines the online entry service has been misused, the Sweepstakes will end. If NJMG determines, in its sole discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events outside NJMG’s control compromise the integrity or viability of the Sweepstakes, NJMG reserves the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Sweepstakes. NJMG’s decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final.
- Sweepstakes subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where taxed, restricted, or prohibited by law.
- By claiming a prize, winners consent to The Record’s publication of their names, likeness, hometown, and prize allocation in the paper. For a list of prize winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: The Record Marketing Dept., Sesame Street Winners, 1 Garret Mountain Plaza, PO Box 471, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. Requests must be received by March 31, 2012.
- Entry constitutes agreement to be bound by all of the foregoing rules and terms, and also constitutes permission to use the winner’s name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
