- No purchase is necessary. Sweepstakes is sponsored by North Jersey Media Group Inc., publisher of The Record. Sweepstakes is a random drawing to win a trip for two to Baltimore, Maryland to see the New York Jets play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at M&T Bank Stadium. Sweepstakes runs September 3 – September 6, 2011. Sweepstakes is open to all legal U.S. residents, ages 18 and older, except officers, directors, and employees of North Jersey Media Group Inc., New York Jets LLC, the National Football League, its member professional clubs, NFL Ventures, L.P, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, and immediate family members and/or persons living in the same household as any of the foregoing persons.
- To enter, complete the official entry form online at http://www.northjersey.com/jetsawaygame. Entries must be submitted by September 6, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T.
- Only fully completed official entry forms submit online by September 6, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. EST will be eligible. No photocopies or facsimiles permitted. North Jersey Media Group Inc., New York Jets LLC, the National Football League, its member professional clubs, NFL Ventures, L.P, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities are not responsible for lost, stolen, ineligible, late, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or postage-due entries or any other circumstances affecting receipt of entries or entrants’ ability to participate in the Jets Away to Baltimore Sweepstakes. - Two (2) winners as detailed in paragraph 5 below will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received, in a drawing by North Jersey Media Group Inc., the publisher of The Record, whose decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. The winners will be randomly selected on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Two (2) winners will be selected to win a trip for two (2) to see the New York Jets play the Baltimire Ravens on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 8:20 pm at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. One hotel room at a to be determined hotel in Baltimore will be provided to accommodate each winner and his/her guest for the duration of the trip. Each winner will also receive two (2) game tickets, round-trip airfare from a New York area airport and ground transportation in Baltimore. Further trip detail to be determined by the New York Jets in its sole discretion. The trip does not include any additional transportation (e.g., personal transportation related to sightseeing, etc.) or lodging or any additional expenses incurred by winner including without limitation, meals, beverages, gratuities and personal purchases. Approximate prize value: $1,200 per person.
- All prizes will be awarded. Judge’s decisions on all matters of the sweepstakes are final and binding.
- Winners will be notified by phone on September 7, 2011 after the random drawing. Winners have until September 9, 2011 at 12 noon to confirm intention to accept the prize. If the prize is not claimed by that time, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be chosen. Each winner must supply valid I.D., sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release (“Affidavit”), and complete and sign a W-9 prior to receiving a prize. Each winner’s guest (or the parent/legal guardian if the guest is a minor) must sign a Liability & Publicity Release prior to winner receiving prize. If a winner fails to provide I.D., fails to complete and sign affidavit and/or W-9, or if guest (or parent/legal guardian of minor guest) fails to sign liability/publicity release, or if prize notification is not responded to, that entry will be void and an alternate winner will be randomly drawn.
- Prizes are non-transferable. Cash redemption, exchange, or substitution is not allowed, except at the sole discretion of North Jersey Media Group Inc. North Jersey Media Group Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Taxes and/or fees are the sole responsibility of the winners.
- Entry constitutes agreement to hold North Jersey Media Group Inc., The New York Jets LLC, the National Football League, its member professional clubs, NFL Ventures, L.P, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities, harmless from and against any and all damages, liability, losses, and expenses arising out of, or claimed to be arising out of, this Sweepstakes, or acceptance or use of the prize(s).
- North Jersey Media Group Inc. reserves the right to terminate, modify, or otherwise change this sweepstakes, at its sole discretion, should it determine that its fairness has been compromised. Any tampering with the online Sweepstakes in any manner is prohibited. NJMG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether the online Sweepstakes has been compromised. NJMG reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who the sponsor suspects or has found, in its sole discretion, to have tampered with the Sweepstakes, submitted multiple entries or submitted entries using any automated means. In the event NJMG determines the online entry service has been misused, the Sweepstakes will end. If NJMG determines, in its sole discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events outside NJMG’s control compromise the integrity or viability of the Sweepstakes, NJMG reserves the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the relevant portion of the Sweepstakes. North Jersey Media Group Inc.’s decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final.
- Sweepstakes subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where taxed, restricted, or prohibited by law.
- By claiming a prize, winners consent to The Record’s publication of their names, likeness, hometown, and prize allocation in the paper. For a list of prize winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Jets Trip Winners, The Record Marketing, 1 Garret Mountain Plaza, P.O. Box 471, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. Requests must be received by March 31, 2012.
- Entry constitutes agreement to be bound by all of the foregoing rules and terms, and also constitutes permission to use the winner’s name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
