1. No purchase is necessary. Sweepstakes is sponsored by North Jersey Media Group Inc. (NJMG), publisher of The Record. Sweepstakes is a random drawing to win tickets to the New Jersey Devils vs. New York Rangers on May 21, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. Sweepstakes runs Thursday, May 17, 2012 through Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. Sweepstakes is open to all U.S. residents ages 13 and older, except officers, directors, and employees of NJMG, Devils Arena Entertainment LLC, Prudential Center, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, and immediate family members and/or persons living in the same household as any of the foregoing persons, and any individual who has accepted a prize under any other North Jersey Media Group sponsored sweepstakes within the last thirty (30) days.
2. A link to the sweepstakes entry form will appear online at northjersey.com/devilsblog from May 17, 2012 – May 20, 2012. To enter, the online entry form must be fully completed and submitted by Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. Enter as many times as you would like.
3. Only fully completed official entry forms submitted online by Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. will be eligible. No hard copies, photocopies or facsimiles permitted. NJMG, Devils Arena Entertainment LLC, Prudential Center, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities are not responsible for lost, stolen, ineligible, late, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries, unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, online failures, hardware, software, or any other technical malfunctions, disturbances, or communications failures, or any other circumstances affecting receipt of entries or entrants’ ability to participate in the NJ Devils April Sweepstakes. 4. One (1) winner as detailed in paragraph 5 below will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received, in a drawing by NJMG, the publisher of The Record, whose decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final. The winners will be randomly selected on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 9 a.m. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
5. One (1) winner will be selected out of all eligible entries. Prize is as follows: two luxury suite tickets to the New Jersey Devils vs. the New York Rangers game on May 21, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Approx. value: $550.00 per ticket; $1,100.00 total. Tickets will be available at the Prudential Center box office will call window the evening of the game under the name of the winner.
6. All prizes will be awarded. Only one prize is allowed per household. Prizes awarded to minors will be delivered only to the minor’s parent or legal guardian. Judge’s decisions on all matters of the sweepstakes are final and binding.
7. Winner will be notified by phone on May 21, 2012 on or about 9 a.m. E.S.T., immediately after the random drawing. Winner must accept the prize by 10 a.m. E.S.T. If winner does not accept the prize by that time, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will randomly selected. Alternate winner must be reachable, messages will not be left and second attempts will not be made. If call goes unanswered, prize will be forfeited an additional alternate winner will be randomly selected and contacted until prize is accepted. Each winner (or the parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) must supply valid I.D. and confirm intent to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) prior to receiving a prize. If a winner fails to confirm intent to provide I.D., complete and sign affidavit, or if prize notification is not answered/confirmed by May 21, 2012 at 10 a.m., that entry will be void and an alternate winner will be randomly drawn.
8. Prizes are non-transferable. Cash redemption, exchange, or substitution is not allowed, except at the sole discretion of NJMG. NJMG reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Taxes and/or fees are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners will provide their own transportation to and from the event.
9. Entry constitutes agreement to hold NJMG, Devils Arena Entertainment LLC, Prudential Center, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and the officers, directors, employees, owners, and agents of each of the foregoing entities, harmless from and against any and all damages, liability, losses, and expenses arising out of, or claimed to be arising out of, this Sweepstakes, or acceptance or use of the prize(s).
10. NJMG reserves the right to terminate, modify, or otherwise change this sweepstakes, at its sole discretion, should it determine that its fairness has been compromised. Any tampering with the online Sweepstakes in any manner is prohibited. NJMG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether the online Sweepstakes has been compromised. NJMG reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who the sponsor suspects or has found, in its sole discretion, to have tampered with the Sweepstakes, submitted multiple entries or submitted entries using any automated means. In the event NJMG determines the online entry service has been misused, the Sweepstakes will end. If NJMG determines, in its sole discretion, that technical difficulties or unforeseen events outside NJMG’s control compromise the integrity or viability of the Sweepstakes, NJMG reserves the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Sweepstakes. NJMG’s decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final.
11. Sweepstakes subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where taxed, restricted, or prohibited by law.
12. By claiming a prize, winners consent to The Record’s publication of their names, likeness, hometown, and prize allocation in the paper. For a list of prize winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Devils Winners, Marketing Department, 1 Garret Mountain Plaza, PO Box 471, Woodland Park, NJ 07424. Requests must be received by November 30, 2012.
13. Entry constitutes agreement to be bound by all of the foregoing rules and terms, and also constitutes permission to use the winner’s name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation, except where
prohibited.
